our story
When Cyclone Gabrielle hit New Zealand in February twenty twenty-three, it caused widespread flooding and triggered devastating landslides across the country. This event overwhelmed the industry, with slip stabilisation service providers facing a backlog of projects stretching years into the future.
At FORM+REFORTIFY TECHNICIANS, we saw this as a turning point—a unique opportunity to do more than just help streamline projects for established main contracting companies. We recognised a significant gap in the market: a growing need for ongoing care and maintenance services, especially for cliff-top property owners looking to protect and preserve their most valuable assets.

We’ve built our services to not only stabilise and repair the land but also to extend the longevity of properties in at-risk areas. Whether you’re managing a large construction project or looking for reliable, long-term solutions for your property, FORM+REFORTIFY TECHNICIANS is here to deliver expert care and tailored stabilisation strategies.

ABOUT ME

With over twelve years of experience as a geotechnical rope technician and a decade as a construction foreman, I’ve built my career on versatility, innovation, and a commitment to excellence. My journey began with a large construction company that exposed me to a wide range of trades and challenging projects. These experiences required constant problem-solving, creativity, and persistence, all of which helped me develop a wealth of technical and practical knowledge—skills I now bring to the stabilization field.

Early in my career, I quickly learned the importance of preparation. I realized that a project's success often hinges on how well we understand its requirements. This motivated me to spend extra time brainstorming, creating detailed checklists, site logistic strategies and configuration layouts to minimise potential hinderances. These efforts ensured that worksites were as functional and safe as possible, setting the stage for successful project execution.

As I progressed, I discovered an unexpected passion for aesthetic slope preparation and finishing. While it is not typically common to spend much time in the slope preparation phase, I recognized its critical role in ensuring job quality and efficiency. By removing disturbed soils and obstructions and smoothing uneven terrain, rig movement times were decreased and installing geotextiles was executed more efficiently due to less time spent having to manipulate the matting when positioning over anchors, achieving uniform edge overlap and facial connection.
