25 Rangitoto View Rd

removed all loose over hanging soil, battered off the top edge, constructed retaining wall beneath formwork (deck), laid erosion control matting, added rockfall mesh for structural performance, anchored with s6 platipus anchors throughout top area and planted vertiver grasses for soil stability due to the steep inclination of the slope.

time frame - approx. 8 weeks due to scale, wall construction on ropes, matting intricacy and pinning into very stiff soils requiring pre drilling.

15 Rangitoto View Rd

removed all vegetation that was impeding work, removed decaying tree stumps and roots, shaped the face for more gradual inclination to give more uniform loading to the platipus anchors. cut pohutukawa tree limbs free that were adding excessive weight to the tree, laid erosion control matting with rock fall mesh overlay and installed anchors throughout. time frame - approx. 4.5 weeks
